Recruitment in communities

Come and learn more about organizing and supporting IT events, meetups, hackathons, contests, and other community activities with the aim of improving your recruitment and building your brand of an attractive tech employer.

In this lecture, I’ll primarily speak about work with IT communities and targeted promotion of your company as an attractive technology employer.

I’ll be covering how to:

Open up contact with external IT communities and offer them support

Acquire relevant contacts for good hires

Work long-term with contacts and maintain their long-term relationships with your company even if they work elsewhere

Organize your own technology events, hackathons, and contests

Engage internal programmers in community activities

Organize events in talent hotbeds outside our country (and perhaps yours as well)

Hire directly at IT events

Be seen on social media and run a blog
